Endowment Campaign

The Sphinx Organization joined the Increasing Regional Philanthropy endowment match challenge through the Community Foundation for Southeastern Michigan. Lillian and Don Bauder stepped up the challenge to match funds through the establishment of a Sphinx Endowment Fund at the Community Foundation that will in essence create a double match for eligible endowment gifts.

Endowment Levels
  • Presenter/Competition Title (exclusive status - only one available) | $5,000,000
  • Catalyst Quartet Sponsor (exclusive status) | $4,000,000
  • Sphinx Symphony Sponsor (exclusive status) | $2,500,000
  • Soloist Program Sponsor (exclusive status) | $2,000,000
  • Lifetime Achievement Award Sponsor (exclusive status) | $1,500,000
  • Classical Connections Program Sponsor | (amount determined by geographic scope)
  • Musical Encounters Program Sponsor (exclusive status) | $1,250,000
  • Sphinx Performance Academy Program Sponsor (exclusive status) | $1,000,000
  • Overture Sponsor (exclusive status) | $1,000,000
  • Allen Award Sponsor | $300,000
  • Sphinx Virtuosi at Carnegie Hall Angel Sponsor | $250,000

To give online to our endowment fund, which is managed by the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan, please visit the Community Foundation’s secure online giving page. Select the radio button next to “Agency endowment funds” and you will find us listed alphabetically in the pop-up box. You will be receipted by the Community Foundation. However, our organization will be alerted that your gift has been designated to our endowment fund.
