Why Support the Musical Chairs Program?

"Sphinx provides a vital link that connects emerging musicians with new audiences and brings first-rate classical music to traditionally underserved populations. This critical and strategic investment will pay dividends by supporting future talent and fostering a sense of appreciation for classical music."
-- Mark Wallace, Musical Chairs Sponsor

Musical Chairs

Join the Sphinx Musical Chairs program today!

The Musical Chairs program supports the artists of the Sphinx Symphony during the Sphinx Competition through your naming of a chair. It is also possible to honor a music lover or musician in your life by sponsoring a chair in their name.

The 16th Annual Sphinx Competition will take place February 13-17, 2013 in Detroit, MI.

Support at the $1,100 level or more provides the following benefits:
   • Named Section Chair in the Orchestra
   • Orchestra Dinner - Admission for Two
   • Two Box Seat tickets for the
Sphinx Competition Finals Concert and Afterglow
   • Recognition in Sphinx Competition program, website and annual report

Support at the $2,000 level provides all the above listed benefits, and the naming of a Principal Chair in the Orchestra.

Sponsoring an entire section (such as Violin, Viola, Cello, Bass) at the $5000 level, provides all the above benefits, including special recognition at the Orchestra Dinner, and additional Box Seat tickets to the Finals Concert.

Transform the life of an artist by supporting the Sphinx Musical Chairs program.
