Sphinx Overture

What is Overture?
The Overture program was designed and initiated with two primary purposes: 1) delivering access to music education to Detroit's underserved communities, and 2) creating a feeder system for the Sphinx Preparatory Music Institute (Sphinx Prep). Sphinx instructors ("Specialists") hold beginning violin lessons for students in Flint and Detroit. The lessons are free and violins are provided by Sphinx.
