Community Engagement

The Sphinx Virtuosi members serve as cultural and diversity ambassadors for audiences and communities around the United States during national tours. During outreach events, the musicians interact with the community through a variety of engagement activities including:

• Interactive sessions with select members of the Ensemble via a live platform like Zoom or pre-recorded. Interactive session topics include presentations related to repertoire, diversity, and music at the appropriate age or grade level. 

• Panel discussion on Diversity in the Arts or other issues related to music and cultural diversity

• Coaching session or private lessons with select members (one-on-one or in a group setting)

Members of the Sphinx Virtuosi are bilingual and able to present residency activities in English or Spanish.
