Deidre Lambert-Bounds is a marketing executive with nearly 30 years’ experience providing strategic council and marketing solutions to multi-billion dollar global brands. Her experience and expertise in branding, reputation management, crisis communications span traditional advertising, social media and digital strategies. She works across a multitude of industries including, but not limited to healthcare, automotive, educational, retail and hospitality. In addition to her entrepreneurial experience, she holds executive leadership and governance roles on non-profit boards.
Deidre is President and Co-owner of Ignite Social Media and COO and Co-owner of its sister company, Carusele Media (an influencer marketing company). In these roles she identifies new revenue sources; maintains financial health including defining and reaching annual profitability goals; ensures the company’s commitment to vision, mission and culture; leads a team of experienced senior executives. Under her guidance Ignite has seen a 50% increase in profit while diversifying its revenue base to have no client represent more than 10% of annual revenue.
Deidre spent 18 years with Brogan & Partner Convergence Marketing where she held executive leadership roles and was ultimately named Managing Partner as part of the founder’s succession plan. In this role, she developed and oversaw strategic direction and its competitive strategies; and collaborated with the board to ensure it was aligned and updated on company priorities. Under her leadership the organization saw profit levels of 30%--well above industry norms.
Deidre serves as a gubernatorial appointee on the Michigan Women’s Commission and leads the women in business committee; she is an advisor to Education Trust Mid-West as a member of its Michigan Achieves Leadership Council; she is a member of the executive committee for the Sphinx Organization (previously served as Board Chair successfully leading the organization through the transition of its founder/ Executive Director), currently she holds the role of treasurer and advises on financial and investment decisions.
She has received several recognitions and honors including: Michigan Chronicle Women of Excellence, 2015, Who’s Who in Black Detroit, 2012, and Corp! Magazine, Diversity Award, 2010. She is regularly asked to speak to women’s groups, at industry events and has been written about in print and online publications.
Deidre attended Wayne State University and has completed several leadership development courses, including completing the 2019 cohort of Deloitte’s Board Ready Women program and the Detroit Regional Chamber’s Leadership Detroit program.
