Denise Boone-Bennett is a Senior Vice President & National Operations Manager within Bank of America’s Corporate Employee Banking & Investment team. She’s responsible for the strategy, execution and management of our Employee Banking & Investing Program, which is a comprehensive financial life benefit that provides financial wellness education to the employees of our business banking clients.
Prior to July 2020 Denise served as The Michigan Region’s Performance Manager, where she was responsible for the strategic performance of 91 Financial Centers within the state. Boone-Bennett is a proud member of the 2023 President’s Global Volunteer Honor Roll. Denise currently serves as a member on United Way of Southeast Michigan’s Innovation Workstream committee. She is a member and former Co-Chair of the Detroit Chapter of the Black Professional Group. In March of 2015 Denise was honored by the Michigan Chronicle as a “Woman of Excellence”. In addition, in 2013 she was a recipient of the Retail Banking and Distribution’s Top Performers Award for her outstanding achievements as a Region Market Leader.
Before entering the financial services industry in January 2000, Boone-Bennet worked in Retail Management and Training for 16 years for various retailors. She joined Bank of America in 2008 through the LaSalle Bank acquisition & held several roles including Financial Center Manager, Branch Operations Analyst II, Senior Account Executive, Market Performance Manager and Market Leader.
Denise has been married to her husband Brady for 34 years and is the proud mother of 2 and grandmother of 3. She’s an active member of Macedonia Baptist Church where she serves as an Announcements Clerk, on the Women’s Ministry, Sunday School Teacher and as a Captain on the church’s Security Team.
