Eduardo Alemann
Argentinian composer and pianist, born January 12, 1922, died July 25, 2005.
Eduardo Alemann was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on January 12th, 1922. A pianist and composer, Alemann also worked as a music critic of the newspaper Argentinisches Tageblatt of Buenos Aires and founded the Asociación Jóvenes Compositores de la Argentina. He promoted Early Music and Contemporary Music in Argentina. Duos and Spectra are two of his best-known pieces for recorders. Many of his works are for string or chamber orchestra. Alemann died on July 25th, 2005.
