Guilherme Bernstein
Brazilian composer, born in 1968.
Guilherme Bernstein is a composer and conductor born in Rio de Janeiro. He has a Masters degree in composition from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro and a Doctoral degree at the Universidade Federal do Estado do Rio de Janeiro. He also studied with Harold Farberman at the Hartt School of Music in Connecticut.
Bernstein has performed in Brazil, Europe, and Israel, and has also won prizes for his conducting and compositions. Since 2004, Guilherme Bernstein has been the professor of Orchestral Conducting and the conductor of the orchestra of the Universidade Federal do Estado do Rio de Janeiro.
