Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on October 20th, 1931, Víctor Juan Carlos Amícola studied violin with Eduardo Acedo and composition with Carlos Suffern. Amícola was the Vice president of the Asociación de Jóvenes Compositores de la Argentina.
